Manna Mediterranean Grill

Manna Mediterranean Grill is a theoretical brand redesign project aimed at creating new visual presence for Manna in the city of Evansville, Indiana. The new branding visuals were implemented through a food truck, menu design, and food packaging design in order to bring a unique culinary style to a wider audience. These changes are meant to increase profits and customer base for this local restaurant.

The brand’s patterns use four common mediterranean ingredients served at the restaurant including lamb, chicken, beef, and veggies. These icons become radial designs which mimic mediterranean aesthetics, especially square tiles. Bright colors with a heavy use of blues suggest a relation to colorful marketplaces and Mediterranean Sea as well. The additional pattern graphics are typographic glyphs within the logo’s typography, used to unify all of the visuals and create a more complex, decorative pattern.
